By ratifying the Rome Statute recently, Ukraine demonstrated its commitment. 

All Rome Statute participants must strictly adhere to their obligations to prevent impunity. We remain open to further Ukraine-ICC cooperation. We expect more warrants, including with regard to Russia’s mistreatment of Ukrainian POWs and its use of chemical substances in warfare".
