Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I was pleased to welcome Tim Lardner, UNOPS Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, to Kyiv. 

I thanked UNOPS for its practical support to Ukraine, including assistance in strengthening energy resilience, humanitarian demining efforts, supporting schools and healthcare facilities, and helping communities recover from the devastating consequences of Russia’s aggression.  

We also exchanged views on how to further scale up our cooperation to support Ukraine’s long-term recovery that improve the lives of people and strengthen the resilience of our communities. We appreciate UNOPS’ readiness to further expand its engagement in line with Ukraine’s recovery and development priorities. 

We also signed a Memorandum of Understanding between MFA of Ukraine and UNOPS to strengthen our partnership and advance joint recovery initiatives".
