12 June 2026 17:46

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha took part in the ceremony for the handover of humanitarian aid for the needs of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces, organized by the Czech civic organization “Post Bellum” (Memory of Nations). The event took place at the Valerii Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium, with the participation of representatives of the organization, Ukrainian servicemen, volunteers, diplomats, and representatives of Czech media.

Ukrainian defenders from various units received vehicles, including ambulances, Starlink terminals, a generator, charging stations, anti-drone nets, and 3D printers. The total value of the aid handed over amounts to approximately 20 million hryvnias.

During the event, Andrii Sybiha stressed the importance of international support for Ukraine and practical assistance that helps strengthen the state’s defense capabilities.

“All of these initiatives have a real dimension and practical application. This is concrete support for our defenders that enables them to carry out their tasks, save lives, and strengthen Ukraine’s resilience amid ongoing russian aggression,” the minister said.

The head of the MFA emphasized that the solidarity of international partners remains an important factor in strengthening security and stability in Europe.

Andrii Sybiha expressed sincere gratitude to the Post Bellum organization, its volunteers, the citizens of the Czech Republic, and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic for their consistent work in gathering and delivering supplies for Ukrainian servicemen.

“Every vehicle handed over, every piece of equipment, and every contribution from our partners helps Ukraine protect its people and bring a comprehensive peace closer. We deeply value this solidarity and support,” the minister added.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Post Bellum organization has provided Ukraine with aid totaling more than 1.5 billion hryvnias, meeting the needs of Ukrainian servicemen, medics, and civilians.
