On April 22, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymour Mardaliyev.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, confirmed mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, Andrii Sybiha thanked Azerbaijan for the aid provided in humanitarian demining, as well as for supporting Ukraine's energy system.

Particular attention was paid to Azerbaijan's participation in the Peace Formula, in particular in the Global Peace Summit.

Ambassador Seymour Mardaliyev handed over the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, addressed to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to participate in the UN Climate Change Conference 2024 - COP-29, which will be held in Azerbaijan.
