Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a good call with my French colleague Jean-Noël Barrot about peace efforts and important decisions ahead. 

We exchanged views on the outcomes of today’s Coalition of the Willing leaders’ meeting. We agreed that this is an important format to form Europe’s security architecture.

I updated Jean-Noël on the new dynamic of our peace efforts. We are in the process and a momentum to speed up our work. I emphasised the importance of robust security guarantees for a lasting peace.

We coordinated positions ahead of major events, including the European Council meeting next week. I stressed the need and urgency to take the decisions on the full use of frozen Russian assets and on the opening of Ukraine’s EU accession negotiations clusters.

I am grateful to France and my colleague for principled leadership and support for Ukraine. Together, we are making Europe stronger, more self-reliant, and secure".
