On February 12, 2020, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya held a meeting with a delegation of Atlantic Council – a U.S. nonpartisan organization that deals with international affairs. The delegation was composed by several well-known diplomats and experts, namely the former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John E. Herbst, Ambassador Aleksander Vershbow, Celeste Wallander and Adrian Karatnycky.

In the course of the meeting, a wide range of issues was discussed, mainly dealing with the development of Strategic Partnership between Ukraine and the USA in the sphere of security policy and other areas. Members of the delegation confirmed the unwavering strong bipartisan support of Ukraine by the U.S. Congress and Administration.

The parties also discussed a cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the international organizations.
