On 10 June, Deputy Minister Yehor Bozhok met via videoconference with the Federal Government Coordinator of German Aerospace Policy, the Commissioner of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy for the Digital Industry and Start-ups Thomas Yarzombek.
The consultations highlighted significant prospects for the development of Ukrainian-German cooperation in the aerospace field and the existence of a number of innovative projects of mutual interest.
The Chairman of the State Space Agency of Ukraine, Volodymyr Usov, who also took part in the meeting, presented a vision of the plans for the development of the space sector of Ukraine, confirmed substantial interest in deepening relevant interaction with interested partners of Germany, and invited his German colleague to visit Ukraine at an appropriate time. The parties agreed to exchange such visits in the near future.
The importance of promoting bilateral cooperation in this area was mutually outlined during the conversation between Yehor Bozhok and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine, Anka Feldhuzen, held on the same day.
