On Wednesday, 24 January, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba held an online meeting with the heads of all Ukraine's foreign diplomatic missions in the EU member states and instructed them to intensify their work to ensure financial and military support for our country and to increase sanctions and political pressure on Russia.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister outlined eight priority tasks for the short term:
"All our partners in the European Union must clearly understand that the fate of Europe as a continent of freedom and prosperity is at stake. Long-term strong support for Ukraine and our country's accession to the EU is the best investment in the security and stability of every European country, and Ukraine's victory is in the interests of all Europeans. Europe must be united, resolute and actor-oriented to achieve this strategic goal," the Minister emphasized.
Dmytro Kuleba also discussed with the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions the strategy of decision-making on the use of frozen Russian assets, isolation of Russian diplomats and limiting the influence of Russian propaganda in the EU.
