The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Heiko Maas. 

Dmytro Kuleba informed his counterpart about Russia's attempts to destroy the peace process and undermine the political and diplomatic efforts of the Normandy format, and urged to prevent these attempts. 

The Minister thanked Germany for its unwavering support of Ukraine and assured of Ukraine's complete commitment to political and diplomatic ways of deoccupation of the Ukrainian territories, on which Ukraine is working together with Germany and France in the framework of the Normandy format. 

Heiko Maas gave assurances that Germany is closely monitoring the situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border and shares Ukraine's firm position on the need for deescalation and reaffirmation of the ceasefire commitment.
