In order to develop the policy of heroes initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba invited veterans of the Ukrainian-Russian war to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He stated this during a conversation with veterans at the Veteran Hub in Kyiv.
"The experience of veterans is needed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and wartime diplomacy. I urge everyone - come, apply, we have a "vacancies" section on our website. In particular, I want veterans who cannot continue to be on the front line due to loss of health or limbs to work for us," the Minister said.
Dmytro Kuleba emphasized that veterans should enjoy public respect, and the state needs their invaluable experience. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is interested in hiring veterans.
"If a civilian goes through a soldier's training course and becomes a military man, then I assume that a military man, having passed a diplomatic soldier's training course, can become a diplomat," he emphasized.
During the meeting, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine answered the questions of the participants of the discussion, in particular, he shared his vision of foreign policy, in which the projection of Ukraine's military power will play a significant role. He emphasized the importance of the invaluable experience of Ukrainian heroes for the development and implementation of long-term foreign policy strategies that will strengthen international peace and security.
