The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Justice and Culture of the Principality of Liechtenstein Katrin Eggenberger.
The Foreign Minister of Liechtenstein reaffirmed the Principality’s consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and stressed the firm position of Liechtenstein on maintaining international sanctions against Russia.
Dmytro Kuleba appreciated the assistance provided by Liechtenstein in the framework of humanitarian programs and Red Cross development projects in Ukraine. These projects are being coordinated by Her Royal Highness Hereditary Princess Sophie as President of the Red Cross Liechtenstein.
The Ministers called for deepening bilateral cooperation in the economic and banking spheres. Dmytro Kuleba drew his colleague's attention to the projects of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, noting that the exchange of experience of our countries in the field of digitalization could be mutually beneficial, taking into account the Principality's desire to become Silicon Valley of the Alps.
The Ministers also discussed the initiative to issue a joint postage stamp dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Myasoyedov, a famous Ukrainian artist who created the first postage stamps of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
