Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Senik held a meeting with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Ukraine Eng. Salem Ahmed AlKaabi.

The major topic of discussion was the development of economic, trade and investment cooperation. The sides expressed the mutual interest in the implementation of joint projects in the spheres of infrastructure, energy, agriculture, medicine, science and technology.

Dmytro Senik and Salem Ahmed AlKaabi discussed the participation of Ukrainian delegation in the Dubai Expo 2020 which will be held in the United Arab Emirates in 2021.

Deputy Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to the Emirati side for the humanitarian aid granted to Ukraine for overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sides stressed out the necessity of the intensification of bilateral political dialogue at high and at the highest level and agreed to promote the preparation for a row of events.
