The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine introduces a system of evaluation of the work of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine on the economic track by business.
"From now on, Ukrainian companies can fill out a questionnaire to provide a detailed feedback concerning Ukrainian embassy’s or consulate’s successes in the economic field," - explained Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik.
Dmytro Senik reminded that in 2020 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba introduced key performance indicators (KPI) for foreign diplomatic missions in the field of economic diplomacy. In the summer of 2021 the first results on the basis of KPI will be summed up to improve the functioning of the Foreign Ministry on this track.
"KPIs are based on the specific activities of the embassies or consulates in order to promote Ukrainian exports, open new markets, attract foreign investment, promote the tourism potential of Ukraine. But we also view the work of diplomatic missions in the economic field as a service for Ukrainian exporters. The service cannot exist without receiving and analyzing customers’ feedback. I am convinced that only a customer-oriented approach can be successful and sustainable in the long run," - Dmytro Senik noted.
As the Ukrainian diplomat explained, the evaluation form was created within the framework of the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. It is available on the MFA of Ukraine website: https://cutt.ly/OvT8FYz.
Representatives of business have the opportunity to assess the quality and efficiency of processing their requests according to a 10-point scale. Exporters can also share with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs their impressions of cooperation with the diplomatic mission and send suggestions for improving the work aimed at promoting Ukraine's economic interests.
"We invite Ukrainian business to give us feedback: both positive and negative. This information is extremely important for the establishment and optimization of internal processes and strengthening the Ukrainian diplomacy in the economic field," - the Deputy Minister explained.
