On June 20, 2024, Iryna Borovets, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, engaged in a telephone conversation with Elizabeth Solomon, the Assistant Secretary-General of CARICOM for Foreign Affairs and Community Relations. During the discussion, Iryna Borovets expressed gratitude to Elizabeth Solomon for supporting Ukraine and condemning the Russian invasion by CARICOM countries. 

The interlocutors reviewed the outcomes of the Peace Summit and discussed the next steps for the practical implementation of the Peace Formula proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This conversation underscored the mutual desire to strengthen the friendly relations between Ukraine and the countries of the Caribbean region, laying the groundwork for deeper political and economic cooperation.
