On March 7, 2024 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Iryna Borovets held a meeting with a delegation of the Hudson Institute led by president and CEO John Walters.
Iryna Borovets emphasized the leading role of the United States in consolidating the efforts of the international community aimed at restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the comprehensive support provided to Ukraine by its American partners in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. She also underscored the importance of continuing this support, in particular with regard to provision of critical weapons and military equipment to our country.
The parties discussed preparations for the NATO Washington Summit as well as effective public campaign and countering Russian narratives in the United States through public diplomacy and communication tools.
The Deputy Minister noted the role of American political science institutions in formulating policies that ensure the United States' leadership in defending freedom and supporting democracy both in Europe and worldwide.
