On February 7, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a phone call with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica Lydia María Peralta Cordero.

Mariana Betsa expressed gratitude to the Costa Rican side for its consistent support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, as well as for the active participation of San José in international initiatives aimed at achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine.

The parties discussed ways to deepen cooperation between the two states, including within international organizations, as well as the expansion of the legal framework of Ukrainian-Costa Rican relations and the exchange of high-level visits.
