On November 26, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister for Multilateral Relations of Colombia Kandya Gisella Obezo Casseres as part of her participation in the 10th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, which is being held in Portugal.

Mariana Betsa thanked the Colombian side for its unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“While Ukraine is working hard to bring about a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace through the implementation of the Peace Formula, the Russian Federation is resorting to escalating the war by involving the DPRK troops and using new-type ballistic missiles against Ukraine,” the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine emphasized.

The Colombian side noted that it will remain committed to achieving peace in Ukraine and is ready to provide assistance to our country, in particular in demining issues.

Issues of strengthening cooperation within the international organizations were separately discussed as well.
