On March 2, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc.

The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to the Canadian side for its unwavering and comprehensive support for Ukraine, in particular for the recent decisions of the Canadian government to allocate additional assistance in the field of energy sustainability, support for the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, and increased sanctions pressure on the aggressor state.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, international initiatives in the field of security and sustainability, as well as interaction within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations.

The parties paid special attention to humanitarian issues, in particular the activities of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children and the nearest multilateral events aimed at further consolidating international efforts on this track.
