On 29 November, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mariana Betsa took part in a panel discussion on ‘Cross-sectoral cooperation in the context of youth work’ at the All-Ukrainian Forum of Youth Work ‘United by Light’.

Mariana Betsa presented the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the area of interaction with young people and support for youth projects in Ukraine and abroad. She spoke, among other things, about the work and projects of the MFA Youth Council, outlined employment opportunities for young professionals, graduates of Ukrainian educational institutions under the Anatoliy Zlenko programme, and informed about the Ministry's initiatives to engage and activate Ukrainian youth abroad.

‘In the context of Russian aggression, Ukrainian youth has become one of the key elements of the information front. Activists, students, and youth organisations are working to convey the truth about Russia's war against Ukraine to the international community. Thanks to cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, young Ukrainians abroad take part in events that inform about the atrocities of the Russian military, expose fakes and promote the idea of helping Ukraine,’ the Deputy Minister said.

The All-Ukrainian Forum of Youth Work ‘United by Light’ is an important event that brings together forums of centres and spaces, youth work and youth workers. It presents the latest research in the field, current topics and methods of working with young people across Ukraine.
