On November 11, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi met with Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Georgy Zakarashvili.

The Deputy Minister informed the Georgian side of Ukraine’s position on the need for decent treatment of Ukrainian citizen Mikheil Saakashvili and the unacceptance of the use of physical force against him.

Mykola Tochytskyi stressed that Ukraine will continue to pay special attention to the rights of Ukrainian citizen Mikheil Saakashvili, which Georgia is obliged to guarantee in accordance with international law.
