Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "In Brussels, I had a meaningful meeting with Jean-Noël Barrot. I thanked France for its strong support and leadership. 

We agreed that as Russia rejects ceasefire—the first step toward peace—it must face severe pressure, strong decisions to hit the Russian economy. 

I emphasized that the next month must be one of pressure on the aggressor. 

We also coordinated initiatives within international organizations and agreed to ramp up our diplomatic efforts to advance peace. 

I specifically stressed the urgent need to additionally strengthen Ukraine’s air defense capabilities. We agreed to work together on this. 

I thank France for realising that the time to strategically strengthen Europe is now."
