The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine welcomes and highly appreciates the creation of the Ukraine Communications Group, initiated by the USA and Poland with the participation of Ukraine and other partner states and organizations.
The Ukraine Communications Group will be based in Warsaw in the premises provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. Representatives of Ukraine and partner states will participate in the activities of the Group with the aim of exchanging information on covering the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, strengthening Ukrainian signals and combating information manipulation by the Kremlin.
In this regard, on June 10, a solemn ceremony was held in Warsaw with the participation of representatives of Ukraine, USA, Poland, as well as other European countries and media representatives. In particular, Special Envoy and Coordinator for the U.S. Department of State's Global Engagement Center, James P. Rubin, made a speech on behalf of the USA, on behalf of Poland - Polish Foreign Minister's Plenipotentiary for Countering International Disinformation Tomasz Chłoń, on behalf of Ukraine - the Director of the Department of Public Diplomacy and Communications of the MFA of Ukraine Viktoria Lialina-Boiko.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine welcomes this initiative of the U.S. and Polish governments and expresses its gratitude to every participant involved in this mission.
