On October 27, 2023, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Bankov held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Mustafa Levent Bilgen.

Oleksandr Bankov congratulated His Excellency Ambassador Levent with the start of his diplomatic mission and expressed gratitude for Türkiye's solid support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state.

The Sides discussed the ways of resuming the Black Sea Grain Initiative, as well as the development of bilateral economic cooperation, in particular the introduction of a free trade regime and the participation of Turkish business in the implementation of Ukrainian projects.
