On Thursday, December 11, the inaugural meeting of the Audit Committee under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was held.
First Deputy Minister Serhiy Kyslytsia, who is the Chairman of the Audit Committee, emphasized the importance of internal control in the MFA system, primarily for the purpose of implementing best practices and strengthening the institution.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the provisions on the Audit Committee, the regulatory framework for effective internal control in the MFA, and reviewed the draft Audit Committee Activity Plan for 2026.
For reference: the Audit Committee under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is a permanent advisory and consultative body, the purpose of which is to provide recommendations on improving internal audit activities and consider issues related to the organization and functioning of internal control in the MFA system.
