On June 1, Ukraine and Israel held the first cybersecurity consultations in the history of bilateral relations.
Deputy Foreign Minister (CDTO) Dmytro Senik and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies took part in the consultations from the Ukrainian side. The Israeli side was represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the competent authority of Israel in the field of cybersecurity.
"Today's realities require an effective system to counter attacks in cyberspace. Coordinated international cooperation plays an extremely important role in this context. Ukraine is interested in establishing an effective cyber partnership with Israel", Dmytro Senik stressed.
During the consultations, the parties presented cyber strategies and national cyber security systems of Ukraine and Israel, exchanged experience in combating cyber incidents.
The Ukrainian and Israeli delegations agreed on further steps to develop cooperation in the field of cyber defense and cyber security.
