This was the signal of the deputy foreign minister of Ukraine (CDTO) Dmytro Senik during the Informal Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the BSEC Member States.
In his speech, the representative of Ukraine emphasized that our state had a clear vision and a strong ambition to lead the BSEC in the post pandemic period. “We are ready to make efforts to reach the practical results of the Organization’s activity for business and ordinary citizens of the member states,” the deputy foreign minister noted.
That is why Ukraine is offering its candidate for the post of the Secretary-General of the Permanent International Secretariat of BSEC. Deputy foreign minister Vasyl Bodnar will compete for this post with the representatives of Greece, Romania and Russia.
The priorities of Ukraine in BSEC are the following: strengthening the cooperation between business, development of IT, intensification of regional cooperation in the spheres of energetics, transport, tourism and health care.
