Ukraine’s Independence Day online marathon reached 1 million people all over the world

A grand Ukraine’s Independence Day online marathon of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine lasted almost six hours.

On August 24, viewers from all over the world joined the three celebration streams, starting at 04:00, 10:00 and 17:00, Kyiv Time, and lasting almost 18 hours in total.

The countries with the most viewers were the United States, Poland, Turkey, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Spain, Great Britain, and Austria.

The event featured Ukrainian film trailers, a full film "Djakuyu", DJ sets from Sky, Michael Balog, and Maryna Krut, inspiring stories about Ukraine and talented Ukrainians, promos of the “Ukraine WOW” exhibition and Ukrainian eco-brands (DZHUS), greetings from around the world. ONUKA performed "Vidlik", Nastya Kamenskykh did her greetings in Spanish, Yevhen Klopotenko cooked borsch. Follow this link to see all that and more.
