The Congress of Ukrainians in Latvia and a number of Latvian NGOs gathered a shipment of humanitarian aid for the Pryluky Central District Hospital.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Riga organized the shipment delivery at the direction of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba.
On April 10, 2020, the shipment weighing 1.5 tons arrived in the city of Pryluky. The aid included personal protective equipment, sanitary clothing, hospital bedclothes, disinfectants, etc.
“I would like to sincerely thank the Congress of Ukrainians in Latvia Head Mykola Pavliuk, all his colleagues, and Latvian NGO’s for such an act of solidarity with Ukraine!” - said Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba.
Chief Physician at the Pryluky Central District Hospital Volodymyr Koleyko offered his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Minister for a caring attitude to urgent needs of Ukrainian regional hospitals.
