On 16 December 2020, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar took part in the 9-th meeting of Ukraine-Italy Council for Economic, Industrial and Financial Cooperation.
In his remarks, Vasyl Bodnar said that an active political dialog with Italy and successful cooperation to respond to present challenges creates a good basis for economic cooperation between the two countries.
The diplomat told the Italian partners about the priority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to increase foreign trade and attract foreign investment.
We strive to use diplomatic opportunities, including the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in order to facilitate contacts between the Ukrainian and other countries’ business communities, promoting Ukraine's economic interests and attracting foreign investment into the Ukrainian economy.
“The planned signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation Between the Council of Exporters and the National Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises of Italy will be another practical step towards deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation", Vasyl Bodnar said.
