"Trade turnover between Ukraine and Denmark can exceed $1 billion," Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yehor Bozhok said during the meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, who presented copies of his credentials. 

The sides outlined future steps aimed at deepening political dialogue and intensifying economic and investment cooperation. 

Yehor Bozhok highly valued Denmark’s position of unwavering support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as maintaining sanctions against Russia as an aggressor. He also noted a number of Danish assistance programs aimed at implementation of reforms in Ukraine. 

Ambassador Mikkelsen assured that Denmark would further support Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

Deputy Minister Bozhok congratulated the Ambassador on his arrival to Ukraine and wished him every success in his future endeavors.
