On October 3, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy - the Italian part of the Ukraine-Italy inter-parliamentary cooperation group headed by the Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies Giorgio Mule.

Yevhen Perebyinis expressed his gratitude to the Italian parliamentarians for the comprehensive support of Ukraine since the first days of Russian aggression, in particular the provision of defence assistance. He urged to continue to support all the initiatives of the Italian government aimed at helping Ukraine to win.

The main attention was paid to implementing Ukraine's strategic course for joining the EU and NATO. In particular, the parties discussed the importance of our country receiving an invitation to join the Alliance.

There was also an exchange of views on the current security situation in Ukraine and the involvement of Italy in the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The representatives of the Italian Parliament expressed an unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
