On 10 December, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis met with a delegation of the European Parliament’s political group “Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats,” led by the group’s President Iratxe García Pérez.

Yevhen Perebyinis discussed with the delegation issues related to political, financial, military and humanitarian support for Ukraine. The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to the MEPs for the EP strong resolutions condemning Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, including the recently adopted one ‘Reinforcing EU’s unwavering support to Ukraine against Russia’s war of aggression and the increasing military cooperation between North Korea and Russia’.

During the meeting, special attention was given to the implementation of the Peace Formula, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Victory Plan and further joint steps by Ukrainian and European diplomacy to realize these initiatives.

The participants also exchanged views on Ukraine’s progress towards the European integration and the involvement of expert assistance from the EU Member States.

The Members of the European Parliament assured the Deputy Minister of their continued unwavering support for Ukraine.
