On September 8, Yevhen Perebyinis, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, held a meeting with the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Europe) of Foreign Office of the United Kingdom.
The focus of the meeting was on security guarantees for Ukraine, bilateral defense cooperation, support for Ukraine's membership in NATO.
The speakers exchanged views on further international initiatives in support of Ukraine, discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and Great Britain's participation in its implementation. The parties emphasized the importance of creation of the International Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression of Russia against Ukraine and coordinated joint measures aimed at strengthening allied relations between the two states.
Yevhen Perebyinis expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for the unwavering support of our country and noted the key role of Great Britain in consolidating the efforts of partners in order to increase Ukraine's defense capabilities.
For his part, Leo Docherty confirmed London's determination to continue to provide the necessary comprehensive assistance to our country and to deepen the partnership with Kyiv to ensure the victory of Ukraine.
