Yevhen Perebyinis met with leading experts from European analytical centres.

On 26 September, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis met with leading experts from European analytical centres.

Experts from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Argentina took part in the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. 

Addressing the participants, Yevhen Perebyinis noted the positive role of European think tanks in advocating Ukraine's interests abroad and their efforts to establish a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the entire European region. 

The participants discussed the issue of strengthening defence support from Ukraine's allies, the importance of their participation in the post-war reconstruction of our country, as well as strengthening the sanctions policy towards Russia and bringing the aggressor state to justice for its crimes.

In the light of Russia's constant attacks on energy facilities, in particular, Ukrainian nuclear power plants, Yevhen Perebyinis stressed the need for increased support from European partners to protect Ukraine's energy infrastructure in the run-up to the winter.

Special attention was paid to Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO. The Deputy Minister also emphasised the importance of implementing President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula as a unified plan to achieve a lasting and just peace, particularly in the context of a new wave of nuclear threats from the aggressor state.
