On August 24, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the delegation of the global parliamentary network «United for Ukraine», headed by the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic, Žygimantas Pavilionis. 

Yevhen Perebyinis expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the association and the countries they represent for their unwavering political support and comprehensive assistance.

During the meeting, considerable attention paid to the implementation of Ukraine's strategic course towards joining the EU and NATO. In particular, the Deputy Minister informed the interlocutors about the preparations for the next NATO summit, which is planned to be held in Washington in July 2024. “Achieving maximum progress and receiving an invitation to join NATO at the 75th Summit is one of the main goals of Ukraine,” said Yevhen Perebyinis.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that the main priorities for Ukraine are the provision of weapons and equipment to our army and to strengthening of the sanctions policy against the Russian Federation, and also expressed the hope that the members of the association will use their influence and potential to attract other states, in particular Africa and Latin America, to take part in the implementation of the Peace Formula initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

For their part, representatives of «United 4 Ukraine» assured of its unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as its European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
