On October 6, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the Ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine George Zakarashvili.
The counterparts discussed the wide range of Ukrainian-Georgian cooperation and further deepening the dialogue between Kyiv and Tbilisi.
Yevhen Perebyinis expressed gratitude to Georgia for its clear position on non-recognition of the results of the so-called "referendums" held in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Deputy Minister thanked for the provided humanitarian assistance and support to Ukrainian citizens who were forced to seek refuge on the territory of Georgia due to full-scale aggression of Russia against our state. The Georgian is also anticipated to strengthen the sanctions pressure on Russia due to its aggression against Ukraine.
Yevhen Perebyinis confirmed Ukraine's unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders.
