On May 13, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevheniy Yenin and Head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Volodymyr Taftai met with Chief Adviser to the Special Advisory on International Affairs to the President of Brazil Filipe Garcia Martins Pereira.

The parties discussed prospects for the development of the political dialogue at high and the highest levels and cooperation in combating the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the potential for deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

"The development of relations between Ukraine and Brazil is facilitated by the personal engagement of the two Presidents," - said the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine.

The interlocutors held a meaningful exchange of views on the continuation of cooperation between Ukraine and Brazil in the space area.

Special attention during the meeting was given to this year’s celebration of the 130th anniversary of the beginning of Ukrainian immigration to Brazil.
