Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis participated distantly in the annual international conference "Mafra Dialogue", which was held in the Portuguese city of Mafra with the wide attendance of the representatives of the Portuguese Government, international organizations, the diplomatic corps, expert and scientific circles of various countries.

Particular attention during the conference was payed to the Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. Participants of the discussions appeared to be unanimous that the results of this war will be decisive for the future not only of Ukraine, but also of the European Union and the international security system as a whole.

Addressing the participants of the event, the Deputy Head of the Diplomatic Service of Ukraine devoted special attention to the achievement of a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace, the basis of which is the implementation of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In this regard, Yevhen Perebyinis called on international partners to actively join the circle of participants of the Global Summit and make their contribution to the peaceful future of our world. "Presently, it is the Global Peace Summit that offers a concrete and realistic path to peace, which we must walk together for the sake of a secure future for our descendants," concluded the diplomat.

At the conclusion of the conference, Yevgeny Perebyinis thanked Portugal for its solidarity and comprehensive support of Ukraine in the fight against Russia's unprovoked armed aggression, and emphasized that Ukraine's full membership in the EU and NATO will be a guarantee of lasting peace and security in Europe.
