OSCE Chair-in-Office’s Special Envoy Vyacheslav Yatsiuk meets OSCE Chair-in-Office's Personal Representatives on tolerance and non-discrimination

The OSCE Chair-in-Office Special Envoy Viacheslav Yatsiuk held a meeting with the OSCE Chair-in-Office Personal Representatives on tolerance and non-discrimination Senator Adil Akhmetov, Rabbi Andrew Baker and Ambassador Tetiana Izhevska, on 21 February in Vienna.

Working plans of the Personal Representatives for 2013, in particular, their visits to the participating States, were among the key issues discussed at the meeting.

“Your activities are of particular importance for the combating intolerance and discrimination and promoting freedom of religion or belief throughout the OSCE region,” said the Special Envoy on behalf of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara.

Mr.Yatsiuk also expressed the Ukrainian Chairmanship’s strong determination to act with the view to eradicating all forms of intolerance and discrimination in the OSCE region. “The Chair-in-Office will support the initiatives of his Personal Representatives, aimed at strengthening implementation of the OSCE commitments in this area,” he stressed.
