Deputy Minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine Victor Mayko paid a working visit to Senegal. It was the first high level contact between two States since the Embassy of Ukraine was open in Dakar in June 2012.
Victor Mayko was received by the Prime-minister Abdoul Mbaye. The officials discussed the ways of implementation of Ukraine to food security strengthening of Senegal by supplying crops, dry milk and other food commodities. The counterparts agreed to follow the discussions on expert level in order to draft relevant contracts.
The meetings with the Cabinet Director of the Ministry of industry and trade Moustapha Ly and the Director general of SICAP Ibrahima Sall allowed to determine the implementation of Ukrainian companies to construction materials supply and know-how’s transfer during the execution of real estate projects.
