In the framework of his visit to the Netherlands, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara met with prominent politicians of the Netherlands - the head of the delegation of the Netherlands in PA CE, senator Hans Franken, member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Parliament the Netherlands, Speaker on European Affairs of VVD Mark Verheijen, diplomatic adviser to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands for European Affairs, Ambassador Robert Van Roeden, Member of the European Parliament from the Netherlands, President of Liberal International, representative of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) Hans van Baalen.

During the meetings a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands including bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed. The main focus of the attention was on issues of European integration of Ukraine, perspectives of signing of Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU inl. DC FTA during Eastern partnership Summit in November 2013 in Vilnius and other important issues of Ukraine’s cooperation with the EU and Council of Europe.
