The Ministers discussed the primary agenda of bilateral relations in the political sphere as well as practical issues of cooperation between the two countries in economic and humanitarian fields.

Special attention was paid to cooperation between the two countries on the European integration. Leonid Kozhara expressed his gratitude to Edgars Rinkevichs for Latvia's continued support of the European integration goals of Ukraine.

The Foreign Ministers also discussed mutual cooperation in international organizations, in particular in the context of Ukraine's chairmanship in the OSCE.

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara invited his Latvian colleague to pay an official visit to Ukraine.
