The sides discussed the state of implementation of the Plan of BSEC activities in the light of the Priorities of the Ukrainian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office.

Special attention was paid to cooperation in economic, transport and energy spheres within the BSEC framework, in particular to preparation to the ministerial meetings (meetings of ministers of transport, economy and foreign affairs) to be held during the Ukrainian Chairmanship.

The sides also exchanged views on the possibilities of mutual steps to intensify interaction with other international organizations, in particular OSCE and EU.

Victor Tvircun underlined the successful implementation of the Calendar of events in the frame of the Ukrainian Chairmanship and informed the BSEC Chairman on the activities of the BSEC Related Bodies (Parliamentary Assembly of BSEC, Business Council of BSEC, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, International Center for Black Sea Studies).
