On March 25, 2013, H.E. Mr. Victor Mayko, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, held political consultations with delegation of the Republic of Croatia headed by the First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Mr. J.Klisovic.
The discussion was focused on enhancing political dialogue at the highest and high levels, development of cooperation between ministries and other executive bodies of Ukraine and Croatia, as well as preparation for the next meeting of the Ukrainian-Croatian Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The parties agreed to keep the most favorable visa regime for Ukrainian citizens traveling to Croatia after Croatia’s entering the EU in July, 2013.
Special focus was made to the development of cooperation in the sphere of European integration as well as in terms of international organizations. The parties discussed the possibilities of mutual support of Ukraine and Croatia candidates to international and regional organizations. Ukrainian side also informed about the main priorities tasks of its Chairmanship in OSCE as well as about the main achievements of our state in the context of European integration process.
