Touching upon the intensification of political dialogue between the two countries, special attention was paid to the implementation of agreements reached during the official visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to Hungary on 27-29^th  March 2013, primarily in the energy sector and in the educational sphere.

In the focus of the meeting there were also issues of European integration of Ukraine, practical measures to ensure the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU during the Vilnius Summit.

Ambassador Bayer confirmed the consistent position of the Hungarian Government to support Ukraine’s European goals.
