Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Olefirov receives Ambassador-At-Large for Eastern Partnership of the Czech Republic Petr Mares

During the meeting key issues of Ukraine-EU agenda, in particular in the context of preparation for signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, were discussed.
The Sides stated that the conclusion of this strategic document will give strong impetus for further implementation of structural and sectoral reforms in Ukraine.
Andrii Olefirov informed in detail about steps undertaken by Ukraine to accomplish the 16th Ukraine-EU Summit agreements and to ensure the signing of the Association Agreement by the end of 18 November 2013.
Prospects of Eastern Partnership initiative were also on the agenda of the meeting, particularly within the context of forthcoming Third Eastern Partnership Summit to be held on 28-29 November in Vilnius, as well as some bilateral and regional issues.
