Deputy Minister Andrii Olefirov meets with US Assistant Secretary of Commerce Michael Camunez

Deputy Minister Andrii Olefirov held a meeting with Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Market Access and Compliance within the International Trade Administration Michael Camunez, who had also been appointed by the US President Barack Obama to serve as a Member of the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (Helsinki Commission).

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and economy spheres as well as priorities for Ukraine’s Chairmanship in the OSCE. The US side stressed its support of Ukraine’s integration with the European Union.

Andrii Olefirov informed Michael Camunez about the steps taken by the Government of Ukraine in order to guarantee intellectual property rights.
