The Forum gathered about 20 delegations from regions - partners of Kyiv oblast from 9 countries, including Russia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Poland, Germany, Greece, Chroatia, China and Vietnam.

In his address to the Forum Minister Leonid Kozhara outlined the place of the interregional cooperation in international relations of Ukraine and its role in the realization of the priorities of foreign policy of Ukraine.

Leonid Kozhara noted high dynamics of the development of cooperation of  regions of Ukraine with foreign partners and cited examples of successful implementation of joint projects, particularly in improving the environment, upgrading border infrastructure, improving the technology of oil and gas extraction etc.

The Minister expressed readiness to provide every assistance to the development of cooperation at the regional level and the implementation of inrerregional initiatives.
