Special attention was paid to the issues related to the stationing of the Russian Federation Black Sea Fleet on the territory of Ukraine, development of legal framework of the bilateral relations and cooperation in economic, trade and humanitarian spheres, in particular to the preparation of this year celebration of the 1025^th anniversary of Christianization of Kyiv Rus, as well as towards the 200 years since birthday of Taras Shevchenko in 2014.

The sides also exchanged views on some issues of international and regional agenda and realization of the priorities of Ukraine's Chairmanship in the OSCE in 2013.
