During the meeting the parties discussed the current state of inter-parliamentary Ukrainian-Spanish cooperation and in this regard underlined the importance of bilateral inter-parliamentary working group.

The Minister informed the Speaker on the political situation in Ukraine, the efforts of the Ukrainian side aimed at signing of Association Agreement with the EU during the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius in November this year.

The parties also exchanged views on the development of trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

Leonid Kozhara invited the Speaker of the Congress of Deputies of Spain to visit Ukraine at a convenient time. Mr. Posada Moreno expressed his support of signing of Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
